Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start by setting your GPS to 62-3 Chungjang-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju. From the Yeongnam region, take the Gwangju-Suncheon Expressway (Route 25) heading southwest. Continue on the expressway for about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Gwangju, follow signs for the city center. After entering the city, take the exit toward Dong-gu. Drive for about 10 minutes until you reach Chungjang-dong. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee of around 1,000 KRW per hour.

  • Bus

    To reach Gwangju Art Street via public transportation, take a bus from major terminals in the Yeongnam region. For instance, catch an express bus from Daegu Bus Terminal to Gwangju Bus Terminal. The bus trip will take approximately 2 hours and costs around 15,000 KRW. Upon arriving at Gwangju Bus Terminal, take local bus number 151 or 158, which will take you directly to Chungjang-dong.
