The journey should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once on the bus, keep an eye out for the '5·18 Memorial Park' stop, which is well-marked. The fare for the bus is approximately 1,200 KRW.

Find the nearest subway station, which is likely Gwangju Subway Line 1. Take the subway towards the direction of 'Songjeong' station. Get off at 'Gwangju Station' and transfer to Line 2. From Line 2, take the train towards 'Songjeong'. Disembark at 'Wolgok Station'. From the station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to 5·18 Memorial Park. Follow the signs towards Sangmuminju-ro; the park will be on your right. The total subway fare will be about 1,500 KRW.

If you are already in Seo-gu and close to 5·18 Memorial Park, you can simply walk there. The park is located at 61 Sangmuminju-ro, Seo-gu, Gwangju. From any point in Seo-gu, head towards the main road, Sangmuminju-ro. Follow the road signs and walk straight for about 10-15 minutes. The park entrance will be clearly visible, and it features a large, welcoming gate.
