Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by entering the Gyeonggi Province highway system. Use the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) or the Seoul Ring Expressway (Route 100) to reach Goyang-si. From the expressway, take the exit toward Ilsan and follow the signs for Ilsan Lake Park. The park's address is 595 Hosu-ro, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. There is parking available at the park, but it may incur a fee depending on the duration of your stay.

• Subway

  Take the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 3, and get off at the 'Daehwa Station.' From Daehwa Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight for about 10-15 minutes. You will reach Ilsan Lake Park at 595 Hosu-ro, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The subway fare from central Seoul to Daehwa Station is approximately 2,000 KRW.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, find a bus stop that services Goyang-si. Several buses from Seoul or other areas in Gyeonggi Province go to Ilsan. Look for buses heading to 'Ilsan Lake Park' or 'Daehwa Station.' The fare will vary based on your starting location but expect to pay around 1,250 - 2,500 KRW for the ride. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, it's a short walk to the park.
