Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Gyeongju Station, exit the station and head east towards the main road (Dongdaegu-ro). Turn left and walk towards the Gyeongju City Bus Terminal. From the terminal, take bus number 10 or 11, which will take you towards Cheongun-dong. Get off at the 'Cheongun-dong' stop. After getting off, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path and continue for another 300 meters. You will see Myeonghwalsanseong Fortress on your right.

Public Bus
From the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal, take bus number 10 or 11. These buses run frequently and will take you towards Cheongun-dong. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Cheongun-dong' stop. Once you get off, walk straight along the road for about 500 meters until you reach a fork. Take the left path and continue walking for another 300 meters, where you will find Myeonghwalsanseong Fortress on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Gyeongju. Start from the Gyeongju City Center and head towards the direction of Cheongun-dong. Follow the bike paths that lead southeast. It will take about 15-20 minutes to reach Myeonghwalsanseong Fortress. Look for signs indicating the fortress; it will be visible from the bike path as you approach.
