From Jeju City, head to the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. You can take a local bus or walk to get there. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for bus number 100 or 101, which will take you towards Aewol. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Gwakji Beach stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the beach.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Jeju City. You can ask the driver to take you to Gwakji Beach (Gwakji-ri, Aewol-eup). The journey should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have the name of the beach written down in Korean (곽지해수욕장) to show the driver.

Bicycle Rental
For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Gwakji Beach. You can rent a bicycle from various shops around Jeju City. Once you have your bike, follow the coastal road towards Aewol. The ride is approximately 12 km and will take about 1-1.5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and be sure to take breaks as needed. Look for signs towards Gwakji Beach as you approach.
