Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Jirisan National Park Visitor Center located at the entrance of the park. Head east on the main road (National Route 19) for about 10 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you towards Sannae-myeon. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn off the main road onto a smaller road signposted for Buun-ri. Continue for another 3 kilometers until you reach a fork; take the left fork and proceed for another 2 kilometers. You will see a parking area near Tag-Yongso (산120-3 Buun-ri, Sannae-myeon, Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do). The total driving distance is about 20 kilometers and may take around 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation
To reach Tag-Yongso via public transportation, start from the Namwon Station. Take a bus towards Sannae-myeon, which operates several times a day. The bus fare is approximately 2,000 KRW. Once you arrive at the Sannae-myeon bus terminal, you can either take a local taxi (which should cost around 10,000 KRW) or walk approximately 3 kilometers to Tag-Yongso. If you choose to walk, follow the main road until you see signs for Buun-ri, then turn onto the smaller road leading to Tag-Yongso.
