    If you have access to a car, start from the main entrance of Jirisan National Park. Take the Route 20 heading east. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto Route 24 towards Seongju. Continue on Route 24 for about 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for Gayasan National Park. The entrance will be on your right. Make sure to have some Korean won for parking fees, which can be around 1,000 to 3,000 KRW.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Gayasan National Park using public transportation, start from the nearest bus terminal in Jirisan National Park. Take a bus heading to Seongju (look for the Seongju-bound buses). The journey will take about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Seongju bus terminal, transfer to a local bus that heads towards Gayasan National Park. The local bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently, especially on weekends.
