Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, you can reach Daejeon Aquarium by taking the Gyeongbu Expressway (고속도로) from any location in North Chungcheong Province. Use your GPS or a maps application and set the destination to '469 Bomunsangongwon-ro, Jung-gu, Daejeon'. The aquarium is approximately a 1 to 1.5-hour drive depending on traffic. Once you arrive, there is parking available near the aquarium, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

  • Bus

    For those using public transportation, take an intercity bus to Daejeon from your location in North Chungcheong Province. Once you arrive at Daejeon Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and catch Bus 107 or Bus 703. You should get off at the stop named 'Daejeon Aquarium (대전 아쿠아리움)'. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. The bus fare is typically around 1,200 KRW.

  • Subway

    If you prefer to use the subway, head to the nearest subway station and take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Banseok Station. Transfer to Line 2 (the green line) at Daejeon Station and head towards Jang-Dong Station. From Jang-Dong Station, you can either take a taxi to the aquarium or walk for about 20 minutes. A taxi ride will cost approximately 5,000 KRW.
