If you prefer using public transportation, take a bus or train to Cheongju. From Cheongju Bus Terminal, you can take Bus No. 3 or No. 5 towards Sangdang Park. Get off at the 'Sangdang Park' stop. The Iron Flagpole at Yongdusa Temple Site is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the path leading into the park, and you will find the flagpole situated within the temple area.

If you are already in the vicinity of Sangdang Park, you can easily walk to the Iron Flagpole. From the main entrance of Sangdang Park, head straight along the main path until you reach the temple site where the Iron Flagpole is located. The walk should take no more than 10-15 minutes.
