If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city in North Chungcheong Province, such as Cheongju. Take Route 1 (National Road 1) towards Goesan-gun. After approximately 30 km, take a right exit onto Route 34 towards Goesan. Continue on Route 34 for about 20 km until you reach the town of Goesan. Once in Goesan, follow the signs to Cheongcheon-myeon and then to Chilsung-myeon, where Goesanho is located. Parking is available near the entrance of the nature preserve.

For those using public transportation, begin your journey at Cheongju Bus Terminal. Take an intercity bus to Goesan. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes and costs approximately 4,500 KRW. Once you arrive at Goesan, you can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the Goesanho area, which is about 15 minutes away. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary.

If you prefer a more direct route from Goesan, taxis are readily available. After arriving in Goesan, you can take a taxi directly to Goesanho. The fare will be approximately 15,000 KRW, and the ride will take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to have cash on hand, as not all taxis may accept cards.
