The lighthouse is located near the shore, so there will be signs directing you to nearby parking areas. Parking is generally available nearby, but it can get busy during peak tourist seasons.

To reach Hamel Lighthouse by public transport, take a bus to Yeosu from major cities like Gwangju or Jeonju. Once you arrive at Yeosu Bus Terminal, you can catch local bus number 111, which goes directly to Jonghwa-dong. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Jonghwa-dong bus stop, which is a short walk away from the lighthouse. From the bus stop, head towards the coast, following the signs for Hamel Lighthouse.
