Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Pyeongchang Ski Resorts, head south on the Dongseo Expressway (Expressway 50) toward Gangneung. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers. Take the exit toward Gangneung and follow signs for Gyeongpo Lake. After exiting, merge onto the local road and continue straight for about 10 kilometers. You'll arrive at Gyeongpo Lake, located at 94 Jeo-dong, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. Parking is available near the lake, but check for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Gyeongpo Lake using public transport, start by taking a bus from Pyeongchang to Gangneung. Buses depart frequently from the Pyeongchang Bus Terminal. The journey takes about 50 minutes and costs approximately 7,000 KRW. Upon arriving at Gangneung Bus Terminal, transfer to local bus number 202 or 203, which will take you directly to Gyeongpo Lake. The bus ride from the terminal to the lake is around 20 minutes. Ensure you have small change for the bus fare.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Pyeongchang Ski Resorts to Gyeongpo Lake. The ride will take about 40-50 minutes and will cost around 60,000-80,000 KRW depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
