If you're driving from Gangneung City, take National Route 7 toward Donghae. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Donghae, look for signs for Gyeongpodae Beach. You will turn left onto Gyeongpodae-ro. The beach will be on your right after approximately 2 kilometers. Parking is available near the beach, but do be mindful of any parking fees, which can range from 1,000 to 3,000 KRW depending on the duration.

From Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal, take a bus heading to Donghae. The buses run frequently and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you reach Donghae Bus Terminal, transfer to local bus number 202 or 203, which will take you directly to Gyeongpodae Beach. The bus fare is approximately 1,300 KRW, and be prepared to pay in cash. The bus ride to the beach from the terminal takes another 20 minutes.

For a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from Gangneung City to Gyeongpodae Beach. The trip takes about 30 minutes and will cost around 30,000 to 40,000 KRW, depending on traffic.
