Getting There

  • Subway

    Take Line 3 (the Orange Line) at any station in Seoul and ride it to Anguk Station. Once you arrive at Anguk Station, take Exit 1. As you exit, you will find yourself on Yulgok-ro. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Changdeokgung on your left.

  • Bus

    From various locations in Seoul, you can take bus number 109, 151, 171, or 6011, which stop near Changdeokgung Palace. If you are at a central area like Myeongdong, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus to 'Changdeokgung'. The bus will drop you off at the entrance, making it easy to access the palace.
