If you are driving from anywhere in the Gwandong Region, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) towards Seoul. After about 2 hours of driving, take the exit toward Seongbuk-dong and follow the signs for Jongno District. Once you reach Jongno, look for parking options nearby, as parking can be limited. The closest parking facility is at the Changdeokgung Palace parking lot. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to the entrance of Changdeokgung Secret Garden.

Public Transportation
To reach Changdeokgung Secret Garden via public transport, start by taking a bus or train to Seoul. If you take the KTX from Gwandong, get off at Seoul Station. From Seoul Station, transfer to Line 1 of the Seoul Subway and travel to Jongno 3-ga Station. At Jongno 3-ga Station, transfer to Line 5 and head to Anguk Station. After exiting Anguk Station (Exit 3), walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Changdeokgung Palace. The entrance to the Secret Garden is located within the palace grounds.
