Getting There

  • Subway

    To reach Freedom Bridge from central Seoul, start at Seoul Station. Take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Sinchang. After 10 stops, get off at Guro Station. Transfer to Line 7 (the olive green line) and head towards Bupyeong-gu Office. After 4 stops, get off at Jeongbalsan Station. From there, take Exit 2 and catch bus 3000 towards Paju. Alight at the Imjingak Park stop, which is the closest stop to Freedom Bridge. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to Freedom Bridge.

    If you're closer to the Dongdaemun area, you can take a direct bus to Paju. Head to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and look for bus number 700. This bus travels directly to the Imjingak Park area, where Freedom Bridge is located. The ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Imjingak Park, follow the signs for Freedom Bridge, which is just a short walk away.
