From central Seoul, head to the nearest subway station (e.g., Seoul Station). Take Line 1 (the Blue Line) towards Suwon. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Gwangmyeong Station. Once at Gwangmyeong Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside the station. Take bus number 1 or 2 that goes towards Gahak-ro. Get off at the Gahak-ro stop (it should take about 10-15 minutes). From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Gwangmyeong Cave. Follow Gahak-ro towards the east, and you will see signs leading you to Gwangmyeong Cave.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Seoul. Simply tell the driver 'Gwangmyeong Cave' or show them the address: 142 Gahak-ro 85beon-gil, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

From central Seoul, you may also take a direct express bus to Gwangmyeong. Head to the Nambu Bus Terminal and purchase a ticket to Gwangmyeong. The journey will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gwangmyeong Bus Terminal, take a local bus number 1 or 2 towards Gahak-ro and get off at the Gahak-ro stop. Walk for about 10 minutes to reach Gwangmyeong Cave.
