Experience Jeondeungsa Temple

Getting There

  • Subway

    From central Seoul, take Line 1 (the blue line) to Incheon Station. Once you arrive at Incheon Station, exit the station and head to the Incheon Bus Terminal, which is located right next to the station. From the Incheon Bus Terminal, take Bus 1 or Bus 2 heading towards Ganghwa. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Jeondeungsa Temple stop.

  • Bus

    If you are near Hongdae or Sinchon, you can take bus 3000 directly to Ganghwa Island. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Jeondeungsa Temple. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the temple entrance.

  • Train and Bus

    Take the AREX (Airport Railroad Express) from Seoul Station towards Incheon International Airport. Get off at Unseo Station. From Unseo Station, exit and take Bus 5 (Ganghwa). This will drop you off near Jeondeungsa Temple. The total travel time will be about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the bus schedule.
