If you are driving, start on the main road (National Route 2) and head towards Goheung-gun. Follow the signs for Goheung and then take the exit towards Aedo-gil, Bongnae-myeon. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Ssukseom Island. There is parking available near the entrance, but it's advisable to arrive early during peak seasons.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Gwangju to Goheung. Buses run frequently from Gwangju Bus Terminal. Upon arrival at Goheung Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Bongnae-myeon. Get off at the Aedo-gil bus stop, which is the closest to Ssukseom Island. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of the island.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Goheung Bus Terminal to Ssukseom Island. This is a convenient option, especially if you have luggage or prefer not to walk. The taxi fare should be around 10,000 KRW, depending on traffic. Make sure to show the driver the address: Aedo-gil, Bongnae-myeon, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do.
