If you are driving, start from the Seoraksan National Park entrance. Take the road heading south towards Sokcho and continue until you reach the highway (Gyeongbu Expressway). Merge onto the expressway and follow signs towards Goheung-gun. After approximately 2 hours of driving, take the exit towards Goheung-gun. Follow the local roads, and use your GPS to navigate to the Palyeongsan area, which is approximately another 30 minutes away. Note that parking might be available near the foot of the mountain.

Public Transportation
To reach Palyeongsan via public transportation from Seoraksan National Park, first take a bus from the park entrance to Sokcho Bus Terminal. From Sokcho, take an express bus to Goheung-gun. The journey will take about 2 to 2.5 hours. Upon arriving in Goheung-gun, you may need to take a local taxi or bus to get closer to Palyeongsan. Confirm with locals for the latest bus schedules and taxi services as they may vary.
