Getting There

  • Subway

    From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul Station. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at Jonggak Station. Exit the station using Exit 3. Once you are outside, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Insa-dong in the Jongno District.

  • Bus

    From the Suwon Intercity Bus Terminal, take Bus 111 or Bus 5002 towards Seoul. Ride for approximately 1 hour until you reach Anguk Station. From there, exit the station and walk south on Yulgok-ro for about 10 minutes until you reach Insa-dong.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Suwon to Insa-dong. Just tell the driver 'Insa-dong, Jongno District, Seoul.' The journey will take around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Jongno District area, you can easily walk to Insa-dong. Just head towards Insadong-gil street, which is a famous street lined with traditional tea houses and shops. It is about a 10-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace.
