Getting There

  • Subway

    From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seodongtan. Travel for 10 stops and get off at Jongno 3-ga Station. Transfer to Line 5 (the purple line) and take the train towards Sangil-dong. After 3 stops, get off at Jongno 3-ga Station. Exit the station using Exit 11. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Jongmyo Shrine, which will be on your left side.

  • Bus

    From Suwon Station, walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take Bus No. 3000 towards Dongdaemun Station. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the Jongmyo Shrine stop. The shrine will be directly in front of you. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.

  • Taxi

    Hail a taxi at any taxi stand near your location in Suwon. Show the driver the address 'Jong-ro, 157 종묘관리소, Jongno District, Seoul'. The ride will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer a direct route.
