Alternatively, you can take Line 3 (the orange line) to Euljiro 4(sa)-ga Station, then transfer to Line 1 and head to Jongno 5-ga Station. The subway fare will range from approximately 1,250 KRW to 2,000 KRW, depending on your travel distance.
