Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey by heading to Ulsan Station, which is easily accessible via local buses or taxis. From Ulsan Station, take Line 1 of the Ulsan Metro towards Taehwagang Station. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Taehwagang Station, take Exit 1.

  • Walking

    After exiting Taehwagang Station, turn left and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach a large intersection; at this point, continue straight ahead. The entrance to Taehwagang Bamboo Forest will be on your right after another 300 meters.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take Bus No. 101, 102, or 107 from Ulsan Station. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 10 stops. Get off at the 'Taehwagang' bus stop. From there, the Taehwagang Bamboo Forest is a short 10-minute walk. Head south towards the riverbank, and you will see the entrance to the forest.
