Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Yeongseo Region and head south on National Route 4. Continue on this road for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach Tongyeong. Once in Tongyeong, follow the signs for Yokji-myeon. After entering Yokji-myeon, look for signs directing you to Yeonhwa-ri. The final destination, Yeonhwabong, is located in Yeonhwa-ri. Parking is available near the site. Please note that there may be parking fees, so be prepared with change or a card.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Yeonhwabong using public transportation, first take an intercity bus from any major bus terminal in the Yeongseo Region to Tongyeong. Buses frequently depart from terminals such as the one in Wonju or Pyeongchang. The fare typically ranges from 10,000 to 15,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Tongyeong bus terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Yokji-myeon. The fare for this local bus will be around 1,500 KRW. After arriving in Yokji-myeon, it is a short walk to Yeonhwa-ri where Yeonhwabong is located. Keep an eye out for local signage or ask locals for directions if needed.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Tongyeong. Taxis are readily available at the Tongyeong bus terminal. The fare to Yeonhwabong should be approximately 15,000 to 20,000 KRW, depending on traffic and distance. This option provides a convenient and quicker way to reach your destination without the need for multiple transfers.
