From Alicante, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Alicante, located at Avenida de Salamanca, 1. You can take any tram line to the 'Mercado' stop and then walk to the bus station. Look for the ALSA buses that go to Santa Pola. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Santa Pola, get off at the Santa Pola bus station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Castillo Fortaleza De Santa Pola. Head northeast on Avenida de Barcelona, then turn left onto Plaça de la Glorieta, where you'll find the castle.

Take the TRAM line from Alicante. Get on at 'Luceros' station and head towards 'Santa Pola'. You will need to get off at the 'Santa Pola' stop. Upon arrival, exit the tram and walk towards Avenida de Barcelona, then turn left onto Plaça de la Glorieta. The Castillo Fortaleza De Santa Pola will be in the center of the plaza. The total journey including the tram and the walk will take approximately 1 hour.
