Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center of Alicante, start at Plaza de los Luceros, which is a central square. From there, head southeast on Calle de Alfonso el Sabio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Federico Soto. Turn left onto Avenida de Federico Soto and walk towards the sea. As you approach the end of this avenue, you will see the beach. Continue straight until you reach the promenade, known as Explanada de España. Walk along the promenade (you will have the Mediterranean Sea on your right) until you reach the end. Turn left when you reach the marina (Puerto de Alicante) and follow the coastline. After a short walk, you will see the Museo The Ocean Race on Mlle. Levante Street, located at number 10.

  • Public Transport

    From the central bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Alicante), take Line 1 tram towards 'Benidorm'. Get off at the stop 'Luceros'. From there, walk southeast on Calle de Alfonso el Sabio. Continue straight until you reach Avenida de Federico Soto, turn left, and follow the previous instructions towards the coastline and the museum. Alternatively, you can take bus number 21 from the bus station, which also stops near the marina.
