If you are near the Alicante city center, head towards the waterfront. Start at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and walk towards the Explanada de España, a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the marina. From there, head to the right and follow the coast until you reach Platja de Ponent, which is located at 03502, Alicante. The walk should take about 20-30 minutes.

To reach Platja de Ponent by bus, find the nearest bus stop with service to the beach. You can take Bus Line C-6 from the city center, which goes to the airport and stops at various locations. Get off at the stop called 'Playa de San Juan,' which is close to Platja de Ponent. From there, it's a short walk to the beach. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes.

You can also take the Tram (TRAM Metropolitano de Alicante). Board the line L-3 at the 'Luceros' station, heading towards 'El Campello.' Get off at the 'Playa de San Juan' stop. From there, follow the signs towards the beach, which will lead you to Platja de Ponent. The tram ride will take about 30 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Alicante. From the city center, follow the marked bike paths along the waterfront, heading towards the Playa de San Juan area. Continue along the coastal path until you reach Platja de Ponent.
