Tossal de la Cala: A Scenic Overlook in Benidorm

Getting There

• Bus

  From Alicante city center, head to the 'Estación de Autobuses' (Bus Station), which is located at Avenida de Denia, 38. Look for the ALSA bus services that run to Benidorm. Purchase a ticket to Benidorm, and take the bus. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Benidorm bus station, exit the station and head to the bus stop labeled 'L2 - La Cala'. Board the L2 bus and get off at 'Cala de Finestrat'. From there, walk up the hill along C/ de la Ermita until you reach your destination at Tossal de la Cala.

• Train and Bus

  Start at the 'Estación de Renfe' (Alicante Train Station) located on Avenida de Salamanca, 1. Take the train towards Benidorm. The train ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at the Benidorm train station, exit and walk to the nearby bus stop. Take the L2 bus (La Cala route) towards 'Cala de Finestrat'. Once you reach the Cala de Finestrat stop, continue walking up C/ de la Ermita until you find Tossal de la Cala.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Alicante directly to Tossal de la Cala in Benidorm. Simply tell the driver the destination: 'C/ de la Ermita, 1, Benidorm'. The drive will take approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking from Benidorm

  If you are already in Benidorm, you can walk to Tossal de la Cala. Start at the 'Plaza de la Iglesia' in the old town and head towards the beach. Follow the coastal path until you reach the end of the beach, then take the steps that lead up towards C/ de la Ermita. Continue straight until you reach Tossal de la Cala. This will take about 30 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way.
