Buses run regularly, but it's advisable to check the schedule ahead of time to ensure you catch one that fits your plans. The bus ride to Cabo de Gata will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on the service chosen. Disembark at the Cabo de Gata village stop.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Almería to Cabo de Gata. You can find taxis near major landmarks, such as the Almería Cathedral or the bus station. The ride will take about 30 minutes, and it’s a good option if you’re traveling with luggage or in a group. Be sure to agree on a fare beforehand or ensure the meter is on.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle is a fantastic way to explore the scenic route to Cabo de Gata. You can rent a bike from various rental shops in Almería. Start by heading towards the coastal path that leads out of the city. Follow the signs towards Cabo de Gata, which is approximately 25 kilometers away. The ride will take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to carry plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather before you go!
