Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the A-45 motorway from your current location in Andalusia. Follow the signs for Córdoba. Once on the A-45, take exit 40 toward Lucena/Priego de Córdoba and merge onto the A-318 road. Continue on A-318 for approximately 15 km until you reach the town of Zuheros. Upon entering Zuheros, follow the local signs directing you to 'Cueva de los Murciélagos'. The entrance is located on 'Carretera Local Cueva de los Murciélagos', approximately 4 km from the town center. Parking is available near the cave site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from major cities in Andalusia (e.g., Seville, Málaga, or Córdoba) to the town of Lucena. From Lucena, you will need to catch a local bus to Zuheros. The bus service may not run frequently, so check the local schedules in advance. Once you arrive in Zuheros, the cave is located about 4 km away. You can either take a taxi from the bus station to the cave entrance or enjoy a scenic walk if you're up for it. Be mindful of the return bus schedule to avoid being stranded in the town.
