If you are driving from anywhere in Andalusia, take the A-44 highway towards Granada. Follow the signs for the city center and then take the exit for the A-395 road leading to the Alhambra. Upon reaching the Alhambra complex, you will find parking areas nearby. Be aware that parking fees may apply, usually ranging from €2 to €5 per hour. After parking, walk towards the entrance of the Generalife Gardens, which is about a 15-minute walk from the parking area.

From major cities in Andalusia like Seville or Cordoba, take a train to Granada. Once you arrive at Granada train station, you can take a local bus (Line 33) that goes to the Alhambra area. The bus fare is approximately €1.40. Get off at the Alhambra stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the Generalife Gardens, which is well signposted and takes about 10 minutes.
