Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Oviedo, take the A-66 highway towards Gijón and then switch to the A-8 highway towards Cudillero. Continue on the A-8 for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit for Cudillero and follow signs to the town center. Once in Cudillero, follow the signs to the Mirador El Baluarte. There are parking areas available near the viewpoint, but be aware that during peak tourist season, parking can become limited.

• Public Transportation

  From Oviedo, take a train to Cudillero. The train operates several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Cudillero train station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the Mirador El Baluarte. The distance from the train station to the viewpoint is about 1.5 kilometers, which is a pleasant walk through the charming streets of Cudillero. Alternatively, you can take a local bus that connects the train station to the viewpoint.

• Walking

  If you're already in Cudillero, you can reach Mirador El Baluarte by foot. From the town center, head towards the coast and follow the road uphill. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer and takes around 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the coastline as you approach the viewpoint.
