Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Oviedo. Head southwest on Calle Uría toward Calle de la Independencia. Continue on Calle de la Independencia, which will turn into Calle de la Losa. Follow this road until it merges into the A-66 highway. Take the A-66 towards Gijón/Avilés. After approximately 3 km, take exit 30 to merge onto A-63 toward Oviedo. Continue straight until you reach Pl. del Carbayón. The monument is located at Pl. del Carbayón, s/n, 33001 Oviedo. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
To reach the monument using public transport, you can take a bus or train to Oviedo. If you arrive by train, you will arrive at Oviedo's main train station (Estación de Oviedo). From there, you can walk to the monument which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Exit the station and head east on Calle de la Independencia, continue straight until you reach Pl. del Carbayón where the monument is located. Alternatively, you can take the local bus service (lines L1 or L2) from the station to the nearest stop at Pl. del Carbayón. The bus fare is usually around 1.30€.
