Car
If you're traveling by car, start by entering 'La Mina, 7, 33450, Asturias' into your GPS or navigation app. From Oviedo, take the A-66 highway towards Gijón. After approximately 25 km, take exit 29 towards A-8. Continue on the A-8 for about 15 km, then take exit 395 towards Avilés. Merge onto the N-632 road and follow the signs for Avilés. Once in Avilés, follow the signs for the Museo de la Mina de Arnao, which is located just outside the city center. There is parking available on-site. Note that parking might have a small fee, so be prepared with some coins or a payment method.
Public Transportation
To reach Museo de la Mina de Arnao by public transportation, take a train from Oviedo or Gijón to Avilés. The journey from Oviedo takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Avilés train station, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. Take the local bus number 3, which goes towards 'Mina de Arnao.' The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the museum, and it will be a short walk from there. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary.
