Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Oviedo city center. From the A-66 highway, take the exit towards Oviedo and continue onto the AS-2. Follow signs for the city center and look for parking options nearby. The closest parking facilities are 'Parking La Lila' or 'Parking San Francisco'. Once parked, Plaza del Fontán is just a short 5-10 minute walk away. Head southeast on Calle Uría, then turn left onto Calle de la Independencia, followed by a right onto Calle Fontán, and you'll arrive at the plaza.
Public Transportation
To reach Plaza del Fontán using public transportation, take a bus to Oviedo. The main bus station is located in the city center. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, exit the bus station and head southeast on Avenida de Galicia, then follow Calle Uría and Calle de la Independencia to Calle Fontán. If you prefer to take a bus, look for local lines that stop at 'La Lila' or 'Calle San Francisco', both within walking distance to Plaza del Fontán.
