If you are in the city center of Ávila, start at the Avila Cathedral (Catedral de Ávila) located at Plaza de la Catedral. From there, head south along Calle de la Catedral, which will lead you to a square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de San Segundo. Turn right onto Calle de San Segundo and walk until you see Plaza Mercado Chico on your left. The plaza is well marked and features various shops and restaurants.

If you are near the Convento de Santa Teresa, exit the convent and head east along Calle de Santa Teresa. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Calle de los Mozárabes. Should you find yourself at the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Ávila), exit the station and head towards Av. de Madrid. Walk north on Av. de Madrid until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Calle de José Antonio and continue straight. This road will eventually lead you to Plaza Mercado Chico. Look for signs directing you towards the town center.
