Walking
Start your journey at the Plaza de España in Badajoz. From the plaza, head east on Calle de Menacho. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Colón. Turn right onto Avenida de Colón and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the bridge over the River Guadiana. Cross the bridge, which connects Badajoz with Elvas, Portugal. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs leading you to Elvas Castle. You will have to walk through the town of Elvas. Continue straight until you reach the castle located at R. da Parada do Castelo 4.

Public Transport
From the Badajoz bus station, take a bus to Elvas. Buses frequently depart to Elvas, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Elvas bus station, exit and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs to the castle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head straight down Avenida da Liberdade, then turn left onto R. da Parada do Castelo, where you will find Elvas Castle at number 4.
