Walking
From the center of Badajoz, head towards the Plaza Alta. Once you reach the Plaza Alta, continue straight along the Avenida de Elvas. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will find the border crossing into Portugal. Cross the border and continue on N-4 road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Elvas. Once in Elvas, follow the signs to Praça da República, which is located in the city center.

Take the bus from Badajoz's main bus station (Estación de Autobuses) to Elvas. Buses to Elvas run regularly, so check the schedule for departure times. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Elvas bus station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Praça da República, which is a short 10-15 minute walk from the bus station.
