Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a metro station, take Line 1 (Red Line) towards 'Fondo'. Get off at 'Universitat' station. Once you exit the station, head towards the 'Ronda de Universitat' exit. Once outside, walk straight along 'Ronda de Universitat' for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Carrer de l'Hospital'. Turn left onto 'Carrer de l'Hospital' and continue walking for another minute. The Library of Catalonia will be on your right at number 56.

  • Bus

    Find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 55 or 120. If you take bus number 55, get off at the 'Hospital Clínic' stop. From there, walk along 'Carrer de Casanova' until you reach 'Carrer de l'Hospital'. Turn right onto 'Carrer de l'Hospital' and the Library of Catalonia will be on your left at number 56. If you take bus number 120, you can get off at 'Carrer de Pau Claris', then walk down 'Carrer de Pau Claris' towards 'Carrer de l'Hospital' and turn right.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Ciutat Vella district, you can walk to the Library of Catalonia. Start at the 'Plaça de Catalunya' and head southeast towards 'Carrer de Pelai'. Continue straight until you reach 'Ronda de Sant Antoni'. Turn left on 'Ronda de Sant Antoni' and continue until you reach 'Carrer de l'Hospital'. Turn right onto 'Carrer de l'Hospital' and walk for about 5 minutes. The Library of Catalonia will be at number 56 on your right.
