If you're in Eixample, a great way to get to the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) is by walking. Start by heading south towards Carrer de València. Turn right onto Carrer de València and walk straight until you reach Plaça de Catalunya, a central square. From there, continue walking down Carrer de Pelai until you reach the intersection with Carrer dels Tallers. Take a left turn on Carrer dels Tallers, and continue straight until you reach Plaça dels Àngels. The museum is located at Plaça dels Àngels, 1. This walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

Public Transport - Metro
You can also take the metro to reach MACBA. If you're near a metro station in Eixample, head to the nearest L1 (Red Line) station, such as Universitat. Take the train towards Fondo and get off at the next stop, which is 'Catalunya.' Transfer to the L3 (Green Line) and head towards Zona Universitària. Get off at the next stop, 'Liceu.' From there, exit the station and walk towards La Rambla, then head towards Carrer de Pelai. Continue straight until you reach Plaça dels Àngels. The walk from the metro station to the museum will take about 10 minutes. Be aware that a single metro ticket costs around €2.40.
