    From the heart of El Born, head southwest on Carrer de la Princesa toward Carrer del Comerç. Continue straight until you reach Via Laietana. Here, turn right and walk along this broad avenue. You will pass by the beautiful Palau de la Música Catalana on your left. Stay on Via Laietana until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Sant Jaume, where you will turn left. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Plaça de Sant Jaume, also known as Saint James's Square. The square is located at Pl. de Sant Jaume, 1, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona.

  • Public Transport - Metro

    If you're near the Jaume I Metro station (Line 4), you can take the metro to get closer to Saint James's Square. Board the train in the direction of La Pau and get off at the next stop, which is Jaume I. Exit the station and walk southwest along Carrer de Jaume I. Continue until you reach Via Laietana, then turn left and follow the previous walking instructions to reach Saint James's Square.

    You can also take the bus to reach Saint James's Square. Look for bus lines 120, V15, or 45 which all stop nearby. Get off at the stop 'Via Laietana - Sant Jaume' and then walk a short distance towards Carrer de Sant Jaume. Continue on this road until you arrive at Plaça de Sant Jaume.
