Walking
If you are starting in the heart of Poble Sec, make your way towards Carrer de Blai. From the intersection of Carrer de Blai and Carrer de Poble Sec, head up Carrer de Poble Sec towards the Montjuïc hill. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Santa Madrona. Turn left onto Carrer de Santa Madrona and walk until you see the entrance to Jardins de Laribal on your right. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes and is a pleasant stroll through the neighborhood.
Metro
From Poble Sec, head to the nearest metro station, which is 'Poble Sec' (L3, Green Line). Take the train in the direction of 'Trinitat Nova' and get off at the next stop, 'Paral·lel'. Transfer to the Funicular de Montjuïc from here. Ride the funicular up the hill, and you will arrive at the Montjuïc area. Exit the funicular and follow the signs to Jardins de Laribal, which is a short walk away. Make sure to check the metro schedule; a single journey ticket costs approximately €2.40.
Bus
You can also take the bus to reach Jardins de Laribal. From Poble Sec, find the nearest bus stop and take the bus line 55 or 150. Get off at the stop 'Mirador de l'Alcalde', which is close to the gardens. From there, it's just a 5-minute walk. Be sure to purchase a T-Casual ticket, which costs around €11.35 for 10 rides, making it an economical choice for multiple journeys.
