Walking
From the center of Poble Sec, head towards Carrer de Blai, which is a vibrant street filled with tapas bars. Walk straight down Carrer de Blai for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Margarit. Turn left onto Carrer de Margarit and continue walking for another 3 minutes. You will then arrive at Plaça del Sortidor, where Fountain Farola is located. The fountain is situated in the middle of the square, making it a prominent landmark.
Public Transport (Metro)
If you are further away in Poble Sec, you can take the Metro Line 3 (Green Line) from Poble Sec station. Board the train heading towards Canyelles and travel for one stop to Paral·lel. At Paral·lel, transfer to the Funicular de Montjuïc (this funicular ride is free with your metro ticket). Ride the funicular up to the top, and once you disembark, walk down towards Carrer de Blai and then turn right onto Carrer de Margarit, leading you to Plaça del Sortidor, where Fountain Farola is located. The total journey should take around 15-20 minutes, including walking.
Use Fountain Farola as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
