Start by locating the nearest metro station in Sants-Montjuïc. The closest metro station is 'Espanya', which is on L1 (Red line) and L3 (Green line). If you are near the Espanya station, board the L1 (Red line) train towards 'Fondo'. After one stop, get off at the 'Universitat' station.

Walking
From 'Universitat' station, exit the metro and head towards the 'Plaça Universitat'. Walk southwest towards 'Carrer de Balmes'. Continue straight until you reach 'Carrer de Pau Claris', then turn left. Follow this road until you reach 'Carrer de Roger de Llúria', then turn right. Continue walking until you see the signs for 'Parc de Montjuïc'. Walk up the hill towards the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, which will be located at Palau Nacional, Parc de Montjuïc, s/n. The museum is visible from a distance due to its grand architecture.

Alternatively, you can take the bus to reach the museum. Locate the nearest bus stop and take the 'D20' bus towards 'Parc de Montjuïc'. The bus will take you directly to the 'Palau Nacional' stop, which is right at the entrance of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. The bus fare is approximately €2.40.

For a scenic route, consider taking the Montjuïc Funicular. You can take the metro to 'Paral·lel' station (L2 - Purple line), and then switch to the funicular.
