If you're near the city center, take Line 1 (the Green Line) of the Bilbao Metro towards 'Etxebarri'. Get off at the 'San Mamés' station. From there, exit the station and head towards the 'Paseo de la Ría' walking path. Walk along the river in the direction of the Guggenheim Museum. Areatzako Pasealekua will be along this path, just before you reach the museum.

Catch a Bizkaibus (local bus) from any central location, such as the Plaza Moyúa. Look for the 'Areetako' bus line, which will take you directly to the Areatzako Pasealekua area. The bus will drop you off near the river, and from there, it's just a short walk to the promenade.

Tram
If you're near the Abando train station, you can take the Bilbao Tram. Board the tram heading towards 'Erandio' and get off at the 'Pío Baroja' stop. From there, walk straight towards the river and turn right. Areatzako Pasealekua will be a short walk along the riverbank.

If you're already in the old town (Casco Viejo), you can walk to Areatzako Pasealekua. Start at Plaza Nueva and head towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the riverfront. Continue walking until you see the distinct promenade of Areatzako Pasealekua, which will be on your left side, just before the Guggenheim Museum.
