Start at Bilbao Abando train station. From there, take the train to the town of Plentzia. The train ride takes approximately 35 minutes and trains run regularly. Once you arrive at Plentzia, exit the train station and head towards the waterfront, following the signs to the beach. It is about a 15-minute walk from the station to Barrikako Hondartza, where you will find beautiful sandy shores.

From the city center, head to the Termibus station. Take the Bizkaibus line A3518 towards Barrika and get off at the 'Barrikako Hondartza' stop. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach, which is a short distance away and easily accessible.

If you prefer to walk part of the way, you can take the metro from the city center to Getxo (Line 1). After arriving in Getxo, you can walk approximately 30 minutes towards the coast until you reach the area of Barrikako Hondartza. This route offers beautiful views along the way.
