Getting There

Public Transport
Start at Bilbao Abando train station. Take the Cercanías train line C1 towards Plentzia. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Gorliz station. Once you exit the station, head towards the main road (N-634) and turn left. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Fano Bidea. Continue straight for about 800 meters, and you will see the Faro de Gorliz on your left.

From Bilbao, take the Bizkaibus line A3518 from Bilbao Termibus station. The bus will take you directly to Gorliz. The journey lasts around 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gorliz bus station, walk towards the coast along the main road. Follow the road signs for the Faro de Gorliz. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station to the lighthouse.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Bilbao. Start from the city center and head towards the coastal bike path. Follow the signs for the bike routes leading to Gorliz. The ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Gorliz, follow the road signs to the Faro de Gorliz, which is located on Fano Bidea.
