Metro
From the center of Bilbao, head to the Abando metro station. Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Etxebarri. Travel for about 10 stops and get off at the Sopelana station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto the main road, and follow the signs to Playa de Sopelana, which is approximately a 15-minute walk downhill.
