Getting There

  • Metro

    From the center of Bilbao, head to the Abando metro station. Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Etxebarri. Travel for about 10 stops and get off at the Sopelana station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto the main road, and follow the signs to Playa de Sopelana, which is approximately a 15-minute walk downhill.

    From Bilbao, go to the Termibus station located at the Plaza de Laku. Take the Bizkaibus line A3518 towards Sopelana. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Playa de Sopelana stop, which is directly at the beach. From there, you can enjoy the beautiful views and the sandy shore.
