After exiting the station, follow the signs leading you towards the beach, which is approximately a 15-minute walk downhill.

You can take the Bizkaibus Line A-3247 from Bilbao. Board the bus at the Bilbao Intermodal station (which is near the city center). The bus ride to Sopelana takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Sopelana' stop, and from there, follow the path leading towards the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk.

If you prefer to walk, start at the central Plaza Moyúa and make your way towards the nearest metro station at Abando. From there, take the metro to Sopelana as previously described.
