Metro
Start at any metro station in Bilbao, such as Abando or Moyua. Take Line 1 (the Bilbo line) towards Plentzia. Stay on the metro for about 25 minutes until you reach the Getxo station. Once you exit the metro at Getxo, follow the signs that direct you to the beach. You will walk approximately 15 minutes downhill towards the coast, passing through local streets and enjoying the view of the beautiful houses in Getxo.
Bus
From the city center, you can catch the Bizkaibus line A3518 at the Termibus station, which heads towards Getxo. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Las Arenas' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Las Arenas Beach. Just follow the signs towards the beach, and you will be there in no time.
Train
Head to the Bilbao Abando train station and take the Euskotren towards Getxo. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Getxo' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the coast for about 15 minutes, following the road signs that lead to Las Arenas Beach. This route provides a lovely view of the surrounding landscape.
